Arnold Brown first came to prominence at The Comedy Store and The Comic Strip. In 1987, he won the prestigious PERRIER AWARD at the Edinburgh Festival. He’s supported Frank Sinatra at Glasgow's Ibrox Park Stadium and top US comedian Steven Wright at London's Dominion Theatre.
Over the years, he has made extensive TV and radio appearances, including his own BBC Radio 4 series, Arnold Brown & Company and BBC2 sitcom, The Brown Man. He’s been the subject of the BBC’s Comedy Heroes and their Caledonian Comedy Arnold Brown special, an Arnold Brown Celebration Night at the Comedy Store saw many of the country’s leading comedians pay tribute to this comedy legend and they came together again for Arnold Brown's Last Stand, to share their stories of his career.
